Aconcagua Speedflying Premiere!!
31 March 2008
After 11 days of approach and climbing in winter conditions, GIN Test Pilot François Bon achieved the first Speedflying descent of the mythical south face of Aconcagua (6962m, highest peak in the Americas).
The 3000 meters of height were “eaten” in just 4 minutes 50 seconds! “At altitude, things happen so fast!! I fell from the sky along the walls—it was incredible…!” he said.
After Premieres of Mont Blanc, Eiger and now Aconcagua, François continues his “wild” descents…
